Simon FLETCHER is a contemporary English poet, novelist and performer who continues the best traditions of the West Midland’s poetry. He was born in the Wyre Forest, Worcestershire, and these days he lives in Shropshire. He worked as a newspaper reporter, after university, and then as a teacher of English and Drama for 15 years. Writing his own work though was almost uppermost in his mind. He has published a number of poetry collections, such as “The Occasions Of Love”, “Close To Home”, “The Cherry trees Of Wyre”, “Some Fine Old Ways To Save Your Life”, “Email From The Provinces”, etc. and anthologies together with other poets.
