Dragana Evtimova was born in 1984 in Skopje, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. She has graduated Macedonian and South Slavonic Literatures at the University of Skopje “SS. Cyril and Methodius”, the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski”; Slovenian Language and Literature at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia; and MA in literature at the Institute of Literature in Skopje. She translates actively from Slovenian language.
Dragana Evtimova is the author of: “The Existence of Dynamics” (poetry), awarded by the Union of Students of the Faculty of Philology, Skopje, 2005; “I’m Somewhere Else” (poetry), Magor, 2011; “Through the Concise Footnotes of Time” (poetry), PNV, 2014; “See You Soon. E.” (epistolary novel, in co-authorship with Vladimir Lukash), Antolog, 2017. She has participated in many festivals of literature and residences for writers and is the winner of the Prize for Poetry Cycle translated into Albanian between two festivals, „Ditët e Naimit“, Pristina. She is a member of the Writers' Association of Macedonia.
