Aziz Nazmi Shakir-Tash (1973) was born in Smolyan, where as a student at the Language high school he wrote poems, some of which were included in Reason for Heaven in 1993. Poems and short stories written during his studies in the Arabics specialty at Sofia University were printed (2004) in a double volume, bearing the titles At 22 and Apocrypha for Rain. This was followed by the poetry collection Sky at 33 (2007), which he was invited to present at iconic venues such as the Library of Congress in Washington, the Manara Tower in Kuala Lumpur, etc.
