Orpheus' name means heal / cure with music and light from Phoenician: "aura frei" or “aura frey”. This is probably how it is translated from other ancient languages as well. In fact, the word aura is also the Latin word for halo, which is consonant with the word orel- erne (or eagle). And it comes from aurum – gold, light. Therefore, in the Mendeleev table, as a chemical element, gold is indicated by Au - αurum (in Greek gold is χρυσός - chrysos). The sun god Horus is represented as an eagle/ erne in ancient Egyptian beliefs. Horus, whom the Greeks called Horos or Horus. Phonetically, this word is very close to the Turkish word - horoz or (h)oroz; horos, oros, which is derived from Farsi: خروس - horos or xorus and means rooster. The rooster is also a solar symbol. The rooster is almost everywhere perceived as the one, who praises the morning and the sunrise. Kind of like a little eagle. In fact, both the Egyptian and Persian words are extremely close to the Proto-Indo-European word *h₃ér, which some translate more generally as bird. But the bird is always an indicator of flight. For height. No matter that the erne/ eagle flies high and the rooster flies low.
At the same time, if we assume that Orpheus's teaching has something to do with the erne/eagle, then it would be the height of the spirit, not the predation, given the nature of the eagle- as we know it from its way of life. And so the eagle is dual - a hunter in his earthly existence as Thracian Heros and exalted in a spiritual aspect, as Orpheus.
Is it possible that there is a connection not only phonetically, but also meaningfully in the words: Orpheus, aura, halo- oreol (Oreol)?
There is a possibility that the name of Orpheus means chorifeus (corypheus) and is pronounced with the elision of a consonant at the beginning of the word and of a vowel "i" in the middle of the word: (H/ К)or(i)pfaius- Orpfaius or Orppheius- Orpheus. Orpheus - the leader of the chorus of the Dionysian celebrations, who should be king, leader, priest and through the jumps and figures, as a dance leader, beg for grace. Not unlike the people we see among the Balkan peoples today, including the figures, leaps and turns characteristic of the Greek, Karakachan and Aromanian dancers, of which the movements in the Near Eastern, represented and
